I just saw where GolfNiners5's posted a review on April 14th. Not looking good at all. There was an article in the Carolina Golf Journal that Highland Creek was now part of Pinnacle Golf Properties...

Played the Jackson course on a very hot Monday afternoon. Course was in average shape with some significant bare spots in the fairways on the back nine. A couple of the women's tee boxes were pretty torn up. The greens were in very good shape for the most part. It would have been nice if there had been a starter and ranger to help with the pace of play. There was a foursome of teenage boys walking ahead of my twosome. It must have taken them twenty minutes to play each of the first four holes. Thank goodness they finally quit after six holes, I think because of the heat. Staff was courteous, patrons were not.

Overall Rating: Great course

Cost: $20

Tee boxes were in very good shape for the most part. Greens were hard to judge the correct speed. Course is extremely hilly, almost like playing in the mountains. The cart paths are a real teeth-rattling adventure. My partner were paired with 2 very pleasant gentlemen and had a great time. I really like this course and will definitely play again.

Course is in excellent shape. Greens are fast and true. This was my first time playing here, The staff was friendly. The course is not well-marked. There are no signs directing you to the location of the 10th tee. Its a good thing we were paired up with a couple who had been there previously. Rangers were present to keep the pace of play moving along. Most were pleasant, although one told our group that we were one minute behind the expected pace after 14 holes. I thought that was a bit ridiculous.

The greens were perfect, rolled true and pretty fast. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The fairways are really starting to fill in nicely. Staff in the pro shop were very friendly and inviting. They really made me feel at home. I will definitely play here as often as I can. Excellent value!

Very enjoyable afternoon on the golf course. Fairways are recovering from a recent aeration and starting to fill in. Greens were in very good shape. This course will be spectacular later in the spring. Staff was very friendly. Not a bad drive from my home in South Charlotte. Very good value for the money.
