Know several members at Skybrook and this is pretty much my "home course." Change is going to be great for this course. Pinnacle has committed 1.5 million to the renovations over the next few...

Calling around Friday for an early morning tee time left me with playing renaissance for the first time. Greens were actually pretty good, a little bumpy but in decent shape. The fairways were nonexistant. Looking off of the tee box i couldnt tell where the fairway was, looked like a field, closely mown and dead. $50 was a joke for this place, won't be back.

Havent been here in a couple years and was suprised by the good conditions. The greens were in great shape and rolled fast. There was one green maybe 17 that had some minor issues. The fairways were in good shape, a little fluffy so not much roll out but no hard dirt like i was expecting. One of the fairways they recently renovated so it was cart path only. Hardly anyone on the course for a saturday so never had to wait on any holes. Would definatley consider this course again if i cant get a good price at olde sycamore or dont want to drive out to red bridge. All the bunkers seemed to be full of sand (only played out of one) and good layout. Par 3's here are fun having a couple elevated tees hitting over water.

went out and played nine after work for $10 with the boagies to birdies deal they have. I was very disappointed in the greens especially since they were recently "renovated". I might as well have been putting on the fairway the grass was so long. There were still sod lines on the greens also. I hope they are planning on cutting the greens alot shorter as the pace was so slow. The rest of the course was in average condition and very wet from all the rain we have had.

I have to say upon arriving i was not expecting much as the clubhouse is a big trailer which is in pretty rough shape. I hit range before the round ($5 gets you a small bag, 30 balls) the range was in good shape but no where to rest your bag if you dont have a stand bag. I was very suprised to see how good the fairways and tee boxes were, very good shape. about half the greens were pretty good and the other half were in rough shape. I think the greens suffered mostly from no one repairing ball marks. The greens were so soft even a short chip shot would make a mark. Definately worth playing for $42 on a saturday morning.

First time playing Highland Creek. Love the layout of this course. conditions were pretty good. Greens ok, you could still see the punch marks but rolled pretty well. Tee boxes were mostly hard as a rock and fairways were in good shape. Definitely would play this course again.
